Sultana

The sultana (also called sultanina) is a very energetic food because it contains many sugars and minerals (especially potassium). The fresh grapes are ripe and they are put into the sun to dry. After the time of drying, separation from the grapes, the washing they are put into a dark and refrigerate warehouse before the graduation. This operation is based on how many pieces they are on 100 gr. and the different colour. Big producer are Turkey, U.S.A and Iran.
